When I moved to Danville, the thought of recontructing my business over again was hard. I wanted to continue Second shooting Weddings to continue with Wedding experience. I got myself familarized with different local groups, meet ups and websites. Which led me to Jen Mertz of Portraits by Jen Mertz. I met her in a local group looking for “Second Shooters” yay! I was a bit nervous at first but I am so glad I got to work with her. She was the sweetest human I have ever met. Here are a few of my favorite images from the wedding.
Tasha Puckey Photography had a great first year with A very merry Christmas mini. Beautiful familes to complete Khol’s Stony Hill Tree farm in Milton, PA. If you get the chance, check them out. Khols has over 1,000 different ornamets spread over 3 floors of building space. Here are a few of my favorite images from 2016
I’ve known Ashley for at least 6 years now. She has always been a shining star in everyone’s life. Always smiling, always laughing….AT EVERYTHING! What do you know?? Here comes Bobby (Robert) and instantly Ashley becomes even more brighter and happier.
Ashley and Bobby (Robert) love Fishing, I mean who doesn’t, It’s a way of life in PA. For their engagement session, we traveled to Rose Valley Lake. I love this lake… and so do they! So much so that Rose Valley is where Bobby proposed. 💍
One situation that the Bride and Bridesmaid made light of was the Coreset Tie. It was missing!!! Fast thinking the Maid of Honor called Amber Rose, a local Upscale, Bridal store. They came to the rescue and saved the day with a Corset Ribbon, Yay! and boy doesn’t she look beautiful!!!
Meet the Albertini’s!
Kade and Steve work with my Husband at Wegmans RSC. Kade is an absolute beautiful soul and Steve… he’s just naturally funny. Over the summer at Wego’s annual picnic, I approached them about a Maternity Session. I thought they would be perfect in front of my lens. Boys was I right! Thank you Albertini’s! Enjoy your little one!
I’ve known Shawna for almost 6 years. We’ve got the to the point that we were inseparable. I was there the day she found the very faded line on her pregnancy stick with her first daughter, Harmony. fast forward two years later and she’s pregnant again. Ha! I will never forget the message ” I can see the line very well with this one.” I felt so much happiness burst when I read that message. Our babies will be 9 month apart and I know they will also become life long friends.
Her husband Ramon owns Holy Suds Car wash in South Williamsport. He’s a pretty tall guy, just like my my husband. Both equally hilarious! As I mentioned earlier, they have a daughter named Harmony. She’s now 4 years old and a handful of joy and sass. She’s defintiely a firecracker when she wants to be. At our session, she didn’t want to be a part of it not one bit.
It wasn’t until we changed location and Shawna charmed her with Ice Cream. Ok?!?!?! Who doesn’t like Ice Cream! Once we got all situated, she came out of her shell.
Today Shawna and Ramon celebrate 3 years of Marriage and this year they will add another little joy named Amelia Grace to their family.
I am truly excited and honored to capture every moment of this journey for them. Happy Anniversary you two… Wishing you many more years of love and happiness!
Every year Tasha Puckey Photography puts out a a 4 Part Model Call. 1. Women 2. Men 3. Children and 4. Couples. Why do I do this? I won’t want to have down time, I want to keep shooting. April 16th was my first Model Call (Women) Session… First up?!?! Amanda Smith! She answered my Women’s Model Call and thank Heavens because she is beautiful. I knew I wanted a Downtown feel and Amanda DELIVERED, right down to her Tan Sandals. All shots were taken on Market Street in Lewisburg, PA between the Campus Theatre and the Pineapple Inn.
I wanted a feel of walking down the street, admiring your surroundings, nothing special…just enjoying a stroll. Very easy to pose, almost like she was a natural. A 15-20 minute Model Call ended up being a 10 minute Call.
Towards the end of our time, the Owner of the Pineapple Inn came out to greet us. What a sweet Human Being he was. I highly recommend you get creative with your shoots. If you can Dream it, you can do it!
