It’s a love story, baby just say yesss!! Caroline and Wesley celebrated their October 24th wedding at the Crofton Country Club surrounded by friends and family. Crofton Wedding photographer, Tasha Puckey Photography shares thoughts about their big day.
When I first heard from Caroline, a friend of mine (Ashton Kelley Photography) referred her to me. Humbled at the opportunity, I immediately emailed Caroline back. Caroline and I ended up talking for almost 2 hours. What started out as a client/photographer relations turned into a friendship. As we started to schedule their engagement session, the world went into shut down because of a crazy Covid virus. It would take what seems forever for restrictions to lessen but as soon as it did we met in Baltimore.
Caroline and Wesley’s engagement session was absolutely amazing and if you haven’t checked it out, do so before you scroll on anymore.
Moving onto Caroline and Wesley’s wedding day, I had a 3 hour drive to collect my thoughts and draw out a plan to keep the wedding day going smoothly. I started out photographing Caroline’s details and invitation suite and moving onto her dress. Looking at the design and details of Caroline’s dress blew me away. It looked like it was design to fit only her personality… Big, Bold + Vivacious. After getting Caroline into her dress, Brandon and I put her in place to have a dress reveal for her bridal squad. We all got in our cars to head to the country club for the first look, I stopped Caroline to get pictures along the most beautiful white fences. Caroline was drop dead gorgeous with the urban background behind her.
Arriving at the Country Club, Teresea (Wedding Planner/Coordinator) and I tucked Caroline away to bring Wesley outside and put him in position. Their first look was super cute and we even took a few bride and groom portraits as we waited for the bridesmaid to come out for their images.
BUT the real star of the wedding was Caroline + Wesley’s 3 year old Beckham. He wanted in on the action and so he did what any adorable toddler would do. He walked right up to his parents during their ring exchanged and stole the show. You could hear all the awwww’s and laughter from friends and family and it just made Beckham smiles and giggle.
Caroline and Wesley got through their 5 minute ceremony and wrote the the beginning of the next chapter of their love story. They spend the rest of the evening shaking it off at their reception.
