The day finally arrived, what seemed like forever pushed back by Covid, two families became one at Sands Springs Country Club on April 30th, 2022. Yovyanny and Rafaela not only gained a son but Mark and Melissa gained a daughter 2 years after covid struck. If you remember, the dreadful day back in March 2020 that would shut down an entire country, globe really. Many couples were left with the decisions to forego their wedding or reschedule. Evan and Marlenne were one of my couples that decided to push back their wedding and just to be safe, they pushed it two years. Their engagement session took place at Longwoods Gardens back in 2019 – You can relive those months here if you want.
Fast Forward 3 years, here we are on their wedding day. Marlenne is upstairs in the bridal suite of the Sands Springs Country Club while Evan is hanging out with this guys in the reception area while for the ceremony. When the time came to get Marlenne in her dress, her mama was right by her side to button her up, to glance over her one last time before she became a wife. I find myself getting teary-eyed during those sentimental moments. Marlenne look absolutely stunning, like a modern day princess.
Walking down the aisle to their forever, Evan and Marlenne ceremony was uniquely catered their backgrounds. Their ceremony was bilingual mixed with Spanish and English language, It was done sooo eloquently. Once they kissed for the first time as husband and wife, all the guests cheered and ooooh’d for them. Definitely a core memory.
Transitioning into their reception. The maid of honor and best man followed up by Marlenne’s brother shared the most heart felt speeches. Laughs, giggles and cheers were heard throughout the reception. These two love birds are one of kind and may no one even come between them. Marlenne and her father danced the night away – those two were an absolute joy to watch break it down on the dance floor. Congratulations Evan and Marlenne, may you both be blessed all the days of your life. <3 – Tash.
