Spotlight

Today’s interview is with my friend Cindi.  Cindi is truly an awesome human being. A couple years ago she messaged me asking for advice on how to use her camera. Ha! I’m a Nikon girl and that was a new adventure for me. Now obviously she really didn’t need my help because she doing her own thing but I love the friendship that came from that simple little message.

1.  Can you tell us a little about yourself?Cindie #1
Born and raised in a small town in Western Union County.  Moved to Watsontown when I married my 1st husband because of his job and stayed here after we divorced because it’s where my kids called home.  Remarried and helped to raise his two children too, so now proud to say have 6 grandchildren – all BOYS – someone bless me with a girl.  No I am thrilled with all boys.  Our  grandchild, Ayden is a loving child with Autism whom has struggled from day one – but is learning and growing each and every day and we are blessed for that.  I am an active EMT/Fire Fighter and I hold a full time job as a Regional Sales Manager for Kint Fire Protection home based out of Harrisburg. I have also coached field hockey for 20 years.  GEEZ – Still doing it – Muncy High School… I just can’t walk away…

2. What was your dream job growing up?
Dream Job – High School History Teacher.
3. In three words, how would you describe your brand. Simple – Relaxed – Fun
4. How did you get into the Photography industry?
My husband upgraded my camera for Christmas and I just loved to take pictures of my grandkids and a friend ask me to help take pictures of her daughters wedding and it took off from there.
5. What sets you apart in your industry/
Nothing really sets me apart – I’m not that good  – you all are above me…. LOL
6. What does a typical session or wedding day look like?
Last year was my biggest year – 6 weddings – engagements – senior shoots – family shoots – maternity shoots – This year under the conditions – I have 4 weddings so far.
7. What is your favorite part of a wedding day?
My favorite part of a wedding is FIRST LOOK and the wedding party getting dressed and all the excitement.
8. If you go anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?
Ireland – hands down – dream vacation.
OPTIONAL:  Quarantine has taught me how important physical contact is with family   – HUGS – I miss my grandkids.
