Which is exactly what his proposal was. It was in our safe place that we have with each other. We aren’t grand, over-the-top people, and I didn’t want a proposal that didn’t feel like us. My engagement ring is made from the diamonds that my late father gave to my mother in her engagement ring and wedding band. It’s absolutely perfect.”
