The Bush House Estates is an amazing wedding venue, nestled in a private setting in Muncy, Pa. If you know me then you would know that I am a history buff. I enjoy learning all things about places and place that happened way before my time. The Bush House is one of these places.

Bush House History

The Estate was built in 1867 by ReverendÂ Dickinson and his wife Margaret who were originally from New York.Â
In 1912 George + Charles Stearns purchased the estate and added a wrap around porch to the backside of the home.Â
Mr. + Mrs. Munson obtained the house in 1925. During their ownership added a beautiful staircase and marble flooring.
1940Â Dr. Roy Simon purchased the home
1945 Congressman and Mrs. Alvin R. Bush purchased the estate and added a working dairy farm. (so cool)
2013 – present Charles Bush + his wife Carmen created the Bush House Estate. Today is a beautiful venue for weddings and other amazing events

Styled Shoot

The Estate caught my attention from other local creatives. I remember seeing this beautiful staircase + I knew right then Â that I needed to see it for myself. The German Schmear technique Â (thanks Chip + Joanna)Â on the outside of the Estate is well executed too. This venue is just absolutely breathtaking and it’s a must see. I got together with one of my favorite wedding planners, Beth Wilbur to devise a plan to shoot there. The shoot had to be spring like, you know to celebrate well Spring! The creative team went above and beyond everything that I could image. My dearest friend Jake Rittenhouse made a custom heptagon for me… and let me tell, you even with the wind it was amazing.
